Origin of Lu
There are two surnames of Lu (Lǔ): one is named after Ji , who was the younger brother of King Zhou Wu, named after the country; the other is changed from other ethnic groups. In ancient times, the State of Lu had relatively large fiefdoms, including the current areas of Shandong Zixian and Jiangsu Peixian and Anhui Sixian. In 256 BC, Lu was destroyed by Chu, and his descendants were forced to move to Xiayi (now east of Bishan County, Anhui Province). After that, they were occupied by the Qi Kingdom.
