Is Cubii as good as walking?
by
Is the Cubii as good as walking? Working out on the Cubii does not provide the same benefits as walking. For example, you’re not bearing your own weight when you use the Cubii, so your muscle and joints aren’t challenged to the same degree as they would be during walking.
We believe that Cubii is likely to be a good option for seniors, because it’s a low-impact and low-intensity form of exercise. Seniors are more sedentary on average than younger people, and the Cubii can help them be active for more hours of the day, even when sitting on the couch.
Does Cubii work stomach muscles?
The big bold-faced claim is that this device allows you to “get fit while you sit,” helping you “burn calories from your couch” and “lose weight and get in shape” while toning your abs, core, hip flexors, glutes, quads, hamstrings, and calves in the process.
What muscles does the Cubii work?
According to the designers, the Cubii exercises the glutes, quadriceps, and hip flexors when pedaling forward and the hamstrings and calves when peddling backward. If maintaining a proper upright seated position when operating the device, the Cubii may work on the core and lower back muscles.
No.The Cubii is much easier on your knees than a peddler. It also strengthens your leg muscles.

When you pedal forward, the Cubii will target your glutes, quads, and hip flexors. Pedaling backward targets your hamstrings and calves. The Cubii even works into the core and lower back muscles, if you maintain an upright seated position while using it.
