Is Cubii as good as walking?

Cubii is a low-intensity exercise machine, so it does burn calories. Any type of movement burns calories. Even walking is an effective way to burn calories.
There are very limited options. So in the office environment, Cubii is more like a vitamin: it’s a nice-to-have if you want to take the additional step to be more active. But for the senior audience, Cubii is more like a pain killer where they don’t have any other option.
How much does a Cubii exercise machine cost?
The $249 Cubii Jr. is an under-desk elliptical machine that allows you to pedal your feet while you work at a computer, ostensibly to allow you to exercise despite being seated.
Does using a Cubii really work?
The Cubii mimics the movement of a regular elliptical trainer without the upper body component. That said, the Cubii won’t work the glutes, hamstrings, and quads as much as a regular elliptical does because it can only be used while you’re seated.
This means you’ll ultimately start toning your core muscles while losing fat. Using the resistance option allows you to better track how strong your core muscles have gotten from the start of using Cubii. Many of my friends who’ve used Cubii have found an increase in calf muscle tone!
Does Cubii strengthen leg muscles?
What muscles does Cubii work? According to the designers, the Cubii exercises the glutes, quadriceps, and hip flexors when pedaling forward and the hamstrings and calves when peddling backward.
How often should I use Cubii?
We recommend starting off slow (between 5-20 minutes a day) being careful not to overdo it. As you continue to use the Cubii, you may find that your strength and endurance will increase, making it easier to go for longer and at higher resistance levels.
Does Cubii help your thighs?
When you pedal forward, the Cubii will target your glutes, quads, and hip flexors. Pedaling backward targets your hamstrings and calves. The Cubii even works into the core and lower back muscles, if you maintain an upright seated position while using it.
Does the Cubii help with lower back pain?

Cubii can definitely help you lose weight if you use it enough. For best results you’ll want to combine it with a strength training regime. But even if you only use it for an hour or two per day and watch what you eat, you can lose weight this way.
Do you get steps on the Cubii?
When Cubii stats are sent to the Fitbit, they show up as “walk” (all Cubii app information does not transfer to the Fitbit app, as this would mess with Fitbit’s algorithm), then Fitbit applies their formula to calculate the steps into the Fitbit app.
