Our scales could be off +/-1% or 1 pound of your total body weight. Make sure that the scale is on zero before taking a reading. A hard surface is best for maximum accuracy. Slightly leaning to the right, left, front, or back can cause the scale to provide a different reading for each direction that you lean.

Why is my Healthometer scale not working?
Check and make sure the floor where the scale is being used is level. If scale is still reading incorrectly, it may be out of calibration. To double-check take a known weight and place it on the scale to see what it is reading. If the scale is not within tolerance, the scale may need to be calibrated.

Widely-available, coin-type CR2032, 2-Volt Lithium batteries are used in our Lithium bath scales. This battery is available at any store that sells watch batteries. Look for type CR2032 for a replacement. Make sure that the batteries being used are fresh, and are placed properly into the battery compartment.
How long do scale batteries last?
Per our Manufacturer’s Specifications, the Scale Batteries (3*1.5V zinc-manganese dry battery) is estimated to generally last around 200 days give or take based on weighing-in on the scale roughly up to three times a day.
