The Optavia diet is a weight loss plan based on eating several meals a day, called “fuelings.” These mini meals provided by the company are supposed to fill you up and help you shed pounds.

Does the Optavia diet really work?
The Optavia diet minimizes caloric intake, and a calorie deficit (meaning you use more calories for energy than you consume) can result in weight loss. It’s better to have an extra Fueling than to go off your program entirely.
Does coffee count as water on Optavia?
So, while you may have other calorie- and carbohydrate-free beverages, such as unsweetened tea and coffee, on the OPTAVIA program and technically, they will contribute to your overall hydration, we still recommend drinking 64 ounces of water each day.
